City Meet Details

Last Practice – YMCA Billiton– Tuesday – June 24th - 7:00pm – 8:00pm

City Meet – Southside Swim Club: 2815 Mackey lane, Shreveport, LA 71118

TENT SET UP – TUESDAY : We may begin to set up Tents Tuesday from 3pm-7pm

In order for us to all sit close to each other, Lets all plan to get our tents set up between

4:00pm and 5:00pm. Please send me a Text if you are able to go between 4:00pm and 5:00pm Tuesday to our Jump Phone number 318-995-3043 – Coach Virginia. Identify yourself please in the text.

Southside will be charging an ADULT Admission fee for City Meet this year. The entrants will receive a paper heat sheet included with their entry Fee. The price will be $10 an adult for 1 day, and $15 if they are to attend 2 days. This is to cover cost for Southside to hold the City Meet as the Host Facility.

IMPORTANT: I have been informed that we are NOT to send out heat sheets early as I have been doing. Everyone needs to get to City Meet as Early as possible to get their heat sheets, highlight their kids and mark your kids up. Make sure you have a yellow Highlighter and a Black Sharpie. It is the parents’ responsibility to take care of this for your children.

City Meet Schedule

Wednesday: June 25th

8 and Under - It will be a good idea to get to City Meet early around 7:15am – 7:30am.

meet start time is 9:00am with warmups most likely at 8:00am. We do not have an exact time for warm-ups yet.

9-10 Years of age – It will be a good idea to be at Southside by 11:30 am. For Warm-ups. Start time for races to start is 1:20pm.

Thursday: June 26th

Age 11 and older -It will be a good idea to get to City Meet early around 7:15am – 7:30am. Meet start time is 9:00am with warmups most likely at 8:00am. We do not have a time just yet as to what our actual warm up time is

TIMERS: will be assigned proportionally to entries for the teams. We will need volunteers to time. It would be great to spread out in 1 hour or 2 shifts. All parents will be called on to take a turn as timer. Thank you in advance.

Awards-

Individual races

1st – 3rd will receive Medals

Through 16th place will receive Ribbons

Relays – Ribbons will be given through 8th place.

Invoicing for Swim Team Fees

Swim Team Fees are $165.00 for the first child in your family, $110.00 your second child onward each "Per Child.  Example - If you have 3 kids joining our team your fees are $385.00.  1 Child $165.00, 2 children $.275.00

Swim Team Fees will be Invoiced through Jump Swim Schools Invoicing and emailed to the email on file. You are welcome to pay CASH $ for Swim Team Fees or we can charge your card.  When charging your card there is a 3% fee added via the email payment link or payment at the reception counter at Jump Swim Schools.
